I received a letter from Viking about damage I caused during my rental for $587.84. I called Budget, who would give me no information, but said they would send me the receipt. They mentioned it could take up to 4 hours.
Discourage, I called Viking. The first person I spoke to was nice and said she would send me a subjugation package, which could take up to 2 hours. I actually got it. the car was returned on May 6 and was inspected on May 9. I said I couldn't believe it was not rented from such a busy airport for 3 days. I also mentioned I wouldn't rent a car with mirror dangling off the door and the man who walked around the car with upon return would have noticed it. I also added that I honestly didn't do it.
She said she would mark it as disputed and that I wasn't going to pay. I asked what I should do now, and she said nothing. I thanked her. Her name was Erica and she said she would send me a letter
So, is it really over?

No, Susan, it's not over, it's barely gotten started. Rental car companies are on a tear to cheat as many customers as possible. But people who come here learn how to beat them at their own game.

Read our advice under Rental Cars ... we have a very high success rate if you follow our guidance. It will take patience and persistence, but you can make this bogus charge disappear. If you have specific questions, please come back to us.
