We bought a new Prius in 2013. After a few years, the knobs stopped working on the radio so they put in a new one under warranty in Oct. 2015. We've gone back and forth over the fact that this new radio will not accept my Samsung S7 telephone for the bluetooth. The bluetooth will actually turn off on the car. Sometimes I can use it for a minute, then it disconnects and I'm stuck driving with someone on the phone but I cannot talk to them. It's especially bad if I'm on a call from a doctor or the home my elderly disabled mother is in.

The dealership here in Carson City NV that put in the new radio says the problem is with the phone. I think this is unfair since our original radio's bluetooth worked fine, then Toyota gave us a radio that doesn't work with one of the biggest brand name telephones. They said my phone was not tested for this radio, but when I called the main company in TX, the gal there said it was tested and should work. She emailed our dealership and they called me. Maybe now I'll get some help, but I'm not too helpful.
