I purchased a non-refundable ticket in March 2018 for travel on or about July 22 2018. About a week before my trip I started feeling light headed and nauseous. I went to my doctor and he wanted to run a series of tests. At my initial consultation he informed me that air travel was out until further tests were performed. This is when I cancelled my flight, before my travel date. Following doctor's advice he put me on a strict diet and advised me not to fly for a year. My credit expires before the year is up. I contacted Southwest customer service by Email and explained. I was given an almost instant canned response of no, we cannot extend the expiration time. All I am asking is for the expiration date of my credit be extended from 3/28/2019 until 7/28/2019 so I can take the trip that I had planned last year.
