Hubby and I rented a vehicle for 5 days at Salt Lake City airport. On return he asked for a receipt but was told his rental contract was his receipt. When we got home, had an email with an additional $190.00 charge for smoke cleaning. He was told there was smoke in the vehicle and a cigarette butt on the passenger side floor. I called and was told it was a wrapper. Here's the thing: I am extremely allergic to cigarette smoke. I found it offensive to have this bogus fee added. I feel that either it is a scam or one of their employees sat in the car and smoke. We returned the car clean and no one had smoked in the vehicle, I would know if someone had. What's up?
