Rented a truck from Thrifty and returned it with no issue. Now they are claiming top damage and I had absolutely no incident with the truck

Hello all,

Reading through the forum has been very helpful already.

I rented a truck from Thrifty and had it for 4 days. Upon returning it, they did their inspection, checked Kilometres etc. I received a final document stating my final charges (I went over the allotted daily kilometres). The document specifically states that there was no "new damage." The truck has been back in their possession for three days now and they have come back to me claiming the top of the truck has been damaged. I 100% did not have an incident with this vehicle and they also have not provided pics yet, which I have requested.

Do you have adivce?
