What is TaoBao? Did you send Amazon the receipt for the purchase? Do you have a credit card on file for address verification?

What does your cell phone have to do with this?

Using gift cards to buy electronics is a big red flag with Amazon. Please read the other posts about the same issue we already have on the Amazon forum and follow the suggestions on how to appeal.

We have not had success with Amazon appeals on these.

TaoBao is the Chinese version of eBay. Since it is not owned by Amazon any gift cards purchased on the site may not be legitimate.
Gift cards from Amazon have become one of the ways that criminals profit from scams. If you purchased these gift cards from someone, you too are a victim.

There you have it. That is a third party website and that’s why they suspended your account. You can only purchase Amazon gift cards from authorized retailers.

You should go back to the person you bought them from and get your money back from them.

Here are the restrictions about using Amazon Gift cards. They cannot be resold and if you bought it from a third party, you are most likely purchasing a re-sold card. They suspect it was purchased unlawfully (through a third party) and won't allow you to use it.

  • Limitations.
Your Amazon.com Balance cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards, prepaid open loop cards, or certain third-party gift cards. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded; resold; used for payment outside of www.amazon.com or its affiliated properties; used for unauthorized advertising, marketing, sweepstakes or other promotional purposes; redeemed for more than face value; transferred for value; redeemed for cash; or returned for a cash refund (except to the extent required by law). No portion of your Amazon.com Balance may be transferred to another Amazon.com account. Neither your Amazon.com Balance nor your Gift Cards may be applied to the purchase of goods or services at any Amazon-affiliated property outside of the United States.
    • Use of Amazon.com Balance or any Gift Card in Violation of these Terms and Conditions.
By using a Gift Card you agree to comply with these terms and conditions, and not to use a Gift Card in any manner that is misleading, deceptive, unfair, or otherwise harmful to Amazon.com, its affiliates, or its customers. We reserve the right, without notice to you, to void Gift Cards (including as a component of your Amazon.com Balance) without a refund, suspend or terminate customer accounts, suspend or terminate the ability to use our services, cancel or limit orders, and bill alternative forms of payment if we suspect that a Gift Card is obtained, used, or applied to an Amazon.com account (or your Amazon.com Balance is applied to a purchase) fraudulently, unlawfully, or otherwise in violation of these terms and conditions.
There is information on the Amazon help screens on how to go to arbitration with Amazon - here is how - To begin an arbitration proceeding, you must send a letter requesting arbitration and describing your claim to our registered agent: Corporation Service Company, 300 Deschutes Way SW, Suite 304, Tumwater, WA 98501. The arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its rules, including the AAA's Supplementary Procedures for Consumer-Related Disputes. The AAA's rules are available at www.adr.org or by calling 1-800-778-7879. Payment of all filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA's rules. We will reimburse those fees for claims totaling less than $10,000 unless the arbitrator determines the claims are frivolous. Likewise, we will not seek attorneys' fees and costs in arbitration unless the arbitrator determines the claims are frivolous. You may choose to have the arbitration conducted by telephone, based on written submissions, or in person at a mutually agreed location.

However, I have all the physical pictures and receipts of gift cards, and I successfully re-opened my account by sending them when my account was closed for the first time. However, amazon did not seem to give me this opportunity, and they did not give me any reply to all the emails I sent to ask about my account

Maybe I just need a chance to send a physical card picture and receipt to amazon to clarify that the seller bought my card from a regular retail store, but amazon doesn't listen to my voice, doesn't reply to my email, doesn't give me any chance.
These $3300 are all my savings for the year, and they mean a lot to me.

But what I chose was the physical gift card that taobao sellers bought back from regular retail stores in the United States, with pictures of the physical card and receipts

Are you now saying that Amazon closed your account and reopened it, and has now closed it again? If they closed your account again after review or new issues, you are not likely to get it reopened. The most you can hope (not expect) is to get your gift card balance back.

You purchased a resold card. Amazon probably tracked the origin of the card with your receipts.
