Hello, my Venmo account for some reason is frozen all of a sudden after a family member sent me $150, I’ve contacted my bank and they said I had to verify the phone number and get a code, which I did, and my account still says frozen. I attempted to contact Venmo 4 times and was left on hold totaling 3hrs. (Yes I waited and counted the time). No one got back on the phone to further assist me. I need the $150 ASAP for college related purposes. What do I do??

Venmo is owned by PayPal. I recommend you escalate this via email.

IMPORTANT: when you reach out to the corporate level . . .
Do not use inflammatory language - be polite and professional
Do not attach files - explain that you can send them separately if necessary
Do not start with the CEO - begin at the lowest level in our company contacts for PayPal (that is a link)
Present a brief summary (list) and give each contact one (1) week to respond before escalating to the next level
