How about creating a new account specifically for this transfer? If you use your current bank there shouldn't be much (if any) cost to do this. That way you can get your money and they won't have access to your primary account. You can close it once you have the money.

FINAL RESOLUTION REPORT: Over the weekend, my spouse and I noticed that we each received money wired to our bank accounts. The 250 Euros Wideroe Airlines had promised each of us as compensation under EU 261 translated to $275 USD - which they wired. Our bank charged us each $15 to receive wired money (something new to me), so our net was $260 USD each. THANK YOU VERY ALL MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!
