I had an account closed by amazon due to chargebacks for unauthorized transactions. I opened another account after I went to a coinstar machine and cashed in $320 in change for a Amazon gift card. Once I did that Amazon closed my account. Any advice? Please advise.

This is what they sent me:

We have closed your account. We canceled all open orders and Prime benefits. Any new accounts you open will be closed.

We took these actions because our records show that this account is related to another account that was closed by Amazon.

Due to the proprietary nature of our business, we are unable to discuss other accounts with you.

Once Amazon closed the first account they effectively fired the OP as a customer. I am not sure what to advise, as there has been little success on this forum with reversing any such decisions.

Alas, we get a post like yours once a week. It's hard for us to advise you to give up, but Amazon does not communicate after they close your account for not following their rules. If they truly are keeping peoples' money after an account closure, someone will have to organize a class-action lawsuit. Closing an account is one thing, not refunding the accoiunt value is quite another.
