Company you have a question or comment about: Honda North America

- acura (Honda North America) sold us a new car (2016 MDX) with an extended warranty
- we have had continual problems which the dealership has not been able to diagnose and fix, this includes safety and other issues, the car has been in repair/diagnosis at a acura dealership multiple times, for a cumulative > 30 days.
- finally we had an issue in which the car went haywire and would not turn the engine but was on and would not turn off until the battery died
- service, including honda corporate reps has no idea what the cause but claims the care is working normally (we have video of the issue and none of hondas explanations can reproduce the issue) the entire process is well documented
- they refuse to do anything for us and we don't know what to do, we have been renting cars since september because we are afraid to drive our MDX
- we don't meet the time requirements for the lemon law and are not sure what to do, we are terrified to operate this vehicle particularly with out two young children aboard (3 and 5 at time of incident, now 4 and 6) we just want to be made whole

What's your desired resolution? we want to be made whole, we want honda to buy this car back from us so that we can move on

Have you taken the car to another dealership or to an independent mecnahinic.? Your extended warranty likely does not require you to use your original dealer.
