My name and surnames appear inverted in my ticket, aeromexico refuses to correct it with my passport and tells me that I must buy another ticket. lanza castillo, caterina ....caterina, lanza castillo. There is no common sense. What should I do.

How long after buying the ticket did you realize this? If it's past 24 hours could you perhaps see if you can just do a change fee vs. buying another ticket? I'm sorry this happened.

You are not in the US? Our laws don't apply in other countries.

But are they both spelled right ?
The inversion might not be caught, but if it were to be mis-spelled, that could wreak havoc.
Maybe just try to go for it, if you don't want to pay the piper.

It would depend on her destination for the return flight, where they might not overlook the name reversal.

How did you purchase the ticket? Phone, airline website, online travel booker, travel agent? What is your itinerary? When is the outbound flight? How did your names get reversed? It's possible that you could get this corrected if the airline made the error. Please let us know.
