Bought a vacation package for a 7 day stay anywhere Hilton is for $1,700 to be used within 18 mths. Hilton is not allowing an extension to use the package. NO refund NO vacation. Doesn't seem fair. Willing to pay an extension fee not to lose this. Anyone else have experience with Hilton?

Did you buy this directly from Hilton or from someone implying that they are affiliated with Hilton but in reality are some kind of "vacation club?"

We get phone calls from these places several times a week at our house. If you bought it directly from Hilton you can plead your case with their executives that are (or soon will be) listed in our contacts. Write to one at a time, leaving a week between emails and remember that you're asking them to bend their rules, so be persistent but polite. If you got this deal from one of the vacation clubs not directly affiliated with Hilton then your problem will be exponentially more difficult to resolve. They count on a certain percentage of people not to use their vacations and have no incentive to grant you an extension.
