We started our Comcast on March 12, 2016 when we bought our house. We have only Internet and basic cable TV, and with taxes, it comes to $61 month. Our deal includes a $30 credit every month which will expire as we approach the 1 year anniversary. What is the best way to approach Comcast to keep this deal?

We tried calling them last week but they said they had nothing available and told us to call later. We are getting plenty of flyers about Verizon FioS, but prices look higher.

I'd ask for retentions when you call. That should get you to the people that can make a deal.

If you're happy with the service, consider a 1 or 2 year service agreement in exchange for a lower rate. That's what I do.
