I have an intriguing question about Greece for you: my mother and I will be traveling there over our Memorial Day holiday weekend to spread my sister's ashes. Would you happen to know where I can find out if it is against the law to do this? Or, if it is not, are their certain places that we can or can not spread them?

You should call a Greek consulate. This is beyond what we do here. If you do a search on Google for Consulate General of Greece you will see a list and you can choose one closest to you.
